Dr Tonia Woodberry

Dr Woodberry is aSenior Research Officer at Menzies School of Health Research and Charles Darwin University (2005-present). She was formerly a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital USA, and a NHMRC Dora Lush PhD scholar at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute and the University of Queensland. She conducts human clinical immunological research with a focus on malaria (Plasmodium falciparum, P. vivax and P. knowlesi) and has a particular interest in understanding the role of dendritic cells and regulatory T cells in disease and asymptomatic infection.
